About Us
Ivy League Childcare is a state-registered family Child Care in Potomac, MD, United States. We meet Maryland state’s highest health and safety standards. Our program’s ratio of one teacher for a maximum of 8 children ensures lots of one-on-one attention for your child.
We offer a home environment where children (of age 18 months old to 4 years old) feel safe and comfortable growing at their own pace so that they will be ready to succeed when they enter the school system. Our program provides a child-centered, play-based, developmentally-appropriate curriculum that is individually designed to meet the needs of each child.
In addition to children’s independent play, teacher-guided, planned learning activities include science and sensory, arts and crafts, emotions and expressions, and music and movements. We rotate a variety of stimulating toys and learning activities throughout the year so children won’t get bored. Our teachers are bilingual in English and Mandarin Chinese.
Ivy League provides individualized care and attention that can meet the needs of each child. We engage parents and keep them updated daily about their child’s condition and development on a regular basis.
